Dear NFL: A Solution

A colleague and I were talking about the upcoming Super Bowl. Neither of us watched the Pro Bowl on Sunday and it seems neither did a lot of other people. Both of us agree that many, many people would like to see the Super Bowl played on a Saturday. That is when we both had the same idea.

Dear NFL,

If you have the Super Bowl played on a Saturday, and then the Pro Bowl in the same city/location on Sunday, you and the host city may come out bigger winners than you have in the past.

Think about it: you could sell a Super Bowl/Pro Bowl package in addition to Super Bowl tickets. The host city has better odds of having people stay from Friday to Monday, regardless if they go to the Pro Bowl.

Well, it’s our idea (hat tip to my colleague Mike) and we think you should take it under consideration.
