Pins and needles

The nervousness is starting to build up, along with the excitement. I just left a meeting with the leadership team member who will publish the first post on the internal business blog.

It’s being written right now, and I’ll have it in my hands very soon, so as to publish it.

I’m ecstatic because he did seem to understand the difference between writing for the blog – so as to start and have a conversation – versus the formal language that normally makes up management messaging.

The blog launches tomorrow, February 10, and the timing is great from a promotional standpoint. Then, I will be on pins and needles waiting to see if anything happens.
