Guest Towels

I am curious about guest towels. I’m talking about the guest “napkins” that one puts out in the powder room versus cotton hand towels. You know, the paper ones that people use after they wash their hands?

Here is what I am curious about: If I put the guest napkins out and no one seems to be using them, are they unsure of what they are; are they not utilizing the powder room; or are they secretly using the cotton towels hanging on the towel rack, even though they are decorative?

Is it a manners thing or an ignorance thing? Just curious.

  1. Yes, I wonder myself. I always check the waste basket. I think some people just use the end of the fingertip towel which is okay as long as they wash!
