Proud parent

Okay, so I’ve been a bit remiss in posting anything here lately. Today, however, I am going to make my post about being a proud parent.

Because my three-year-old daughter had her first ballet performance today!!! Her class performed “The Turkey Dance”, and yes, it was a hoot. The dance was performed in the classroom and the parents just sat on the floor in front of the class.

I was extremely proud as she did not get distracted by parents sitting in front of her taking pictures. There were three girls who started the dance, but one decided not to finish. E started off a little slow but then she participated fully with the teacher leading the way.

It was the best experience – to sit there and see your child enjoy herself and show confidence in herself. Lots of laughter between hubby and me afterwards, but we wouldn’t have missed this for the world.
